I am Here; Hear Me Bark: Comedy, Disability, and the Inclusive Synagogue – an ELI Talk

Inclusion can feel like an overwhelming idea.  In this talk, inclusion is presented a little bit differently.  Through personal narrative and a mindset to get your community started, this talk brings home the idea that inclusion is not about what we can’t do because people with disabilities are a part of our community, but instead what we GET to do because we build and grow with every member.

For more on this talk, read “Comedy, Disability, and the Inclusive Synagogue: an ELI Talk” by Rabbi Bradley Solmsen, Director of Youth Engagement for the URJ.  The great blog post includes an interview with Pamela Schuller.
